Frihet reviewed connector support
This page covers the reviewed Frihet connector at openai-mcp.frihet.io: the MCP endpoint, https://openai-mcp.frihet.io/mcp, that ChatGPT, Codex and Claude connect to when a user adds the Frihet connector. Every client receives the same reviewed tools.
Frihet is the trade name owned and operated in Spain by VICTOR BERTHELIUS PATO.
The reviewed surface contains exactly 33 business tools with complete model-facing descriptions for invoices, expenses, clients and CRM, products, quotes, vendors, and current business context. It exposes no discovery meta-tools, MCP prompts, or MCP resources.
It does not provide raw document downloads, webhook administration, or dedicated fields for government identifiers, banking data, precise addresses, signing credentials, or regulated payloads. Payroll or HR, accommodation or POS, regulated filing, export workflows, direct quote-email delivery, the legacy monthly summary, updates to existing quotes, client-parent deletion, expense deletion, product deletion, and vendor deletion are excluded. It also does not publish a parallel REST/OpenAPI contract; the scanned MCP metadata is authoritative.
Every write requires explicit authorization. Selected client contacts and client notes can be permanently deleted. A quote draft is eligible for permanent deletion only when it has no delivery, response, attachment, or conversion evidence; a protected draft is refused and left unchanged, while deleting a non-draft quote cancels it. Creating an invoice or quote draft reserves a Frihet document number and advances the workspace numbering counter; an invoice draft also counts toward monthly invoice usage and may send invoice-creation analytics to PostHog's EU-hosted analytics service. These drafts remain outside invoice issuance, hashing, emailing, payment, cancellation, crediting, duplication, and external filing. If expense creation needs a new vendor, that vendor is created in a separate backend step and may remain even if the later expense write fails. If a workspace owner previously configured active Frihet webhooks outside this connector, one of the ten disclosed webhook-capable writes may deliver one or more full business events to those endpoints. Webhook deliveries are outside the reviewed MCP response schema and can contain the complete underlying record, including fields this connector does not return to the AI assistant; disable them in Frihet before using write tools if those deliveries are not wanted. Creating an invoice or expense may also create in-app and Novu notifications for eligible workspace admins or accountants whose preferences allow them; delivery can include the recipient's Frihet identifier and, when stored, name/email, plus the workspace name and relevant document number, client name, expense description, or vendor name. For a referred workspace, its first invoice or expense may update linked referral records and award activation credits to the referring Frihet account. The connector cannot list, create, update, or delete webhook configurations.
